[史匹堡让我们体验末日的恐慌，人心掉入碎裂的地下，外星异物如庞大的雨云降下暴烈的恐惧，城市的众生共同哀嚎。这里是沉重的无奈。而后外星异物极尽破坏的各种手段硬生生把城市和其生活摧毁，死光掠过后化做烟灰的人体，被掀翻的高架公路，遍地废墟和血淋淋的碎尸。一下又一下冲击感官，这里是剌激的壮烈。父亲和子女没时间培养感情了，反正父亲的本能是保护子女。难得他也懂得尊重已经长大的孩子，放手也是因为疼爰。这部电影其实是世界之战里一个家庭千里寻亲的故事，是末日时期的一个插曲。真正的战争在电影外面，我们看不见的地方。]
说真的，画面的确一流，喜爱灾难片的朋友会喜欢。
温情的画面也不少。其实是以爸爸和儿子女儿的关系/感情来主导整部电影的。
我超喜欢dakota fanning的，自从看过她在i am sam 和 man on fire 的演出后就欲罢不能了，他才十一岁！
